Sarita is a passionate composer, mixing engineer, and producer originally from Bogota, Colombia with a great curiosity for all things musical. Her journey is fueled by a love for collaboration and for always seeking out new avenues to explore.

After earning her master's degree from the San Francisco Conservatory of Music in 2022, Sarita's talent was nurtured under the guidance of renowned industry figures like Jason O'Connell, Lennie Moore, and Robert Gatley.

Her musical journey has taken her to esteemed places, including Codiscos, a prestigious Colombian record label, where she contributed to the Happy Tunes channel. Notably, she was commissioned by Colombian percussionist Andres Florez to compose "Caverna," a vibraphone piece that premiered at both the National Conservatory of Colombia and the San Francisco Conservatory of Music.

Sarita's creative spirit knows no bounds. She's collaborated with HITMKR on an electronic-pop track titled "Hard Time," released in February 2023. Recently, she joined forces with dancer Nicolay Esptita and The Sunset Arts Foundation to craft a mesmerizing ballet project featuring her String Quartet composition, "Segue," released on August 4th, 2023.

In November 2023, Sarita showcased her versatility at the Bogota International Film Festival, scoring a film alongside fellow composers. Notably, the Women's Philharmonic Orchestra of Colombia performed her orchestral piece, "La dama y el verdugo" (The Lady and the Executioner), during this event.

Beyond her composition work, Sarita has developed her craft as a mixing engineer and producer. Working closely with emerging composers like Natasha Frank and spearheading her startup for beatmaking and producing for independent singers and songwriters, Langur Beats.
